![]() Making your deck by yourself doesn't make you "skilled" and it can make you a worse player because you're not considering what others did, asking why it works and how can you adapt to counter it. I played against Mask Change multiple times, especially in this event, and yes, I've lost to it, when my deck bricked (having 6 tuners in the deck, starting with 4 and drawing the other 2 one after the other), but other than that, that deck is weak, it can't win if you a half decent deck. You're calling meh cards as "overpowered" because you refuse to adapt your deck to deal with them. ![]() In a way, doing what you did, but properly. There's a reason why a good amount of players consider the Tier 0 Nekroz format one of the most skillful formats of the TCG even tho everyone was playing the same archetype, you can't play the exact same decklist for more than 1 tournament otherwise you'd simply lose because others improved their decks. What does it help is make it easier for you to create a deck, not because "people can't read", but because they let others do the hard work for them, and just adapting the deck to their playstyle afterwards. Netdecking and playing an exact replica of that deck is normally a dumb idea, simply because the actually good players will look at the same deck, see why it works and how they can beat it, changing cards, making it better. Now, I want you to look at both decks and start playing "find the differences". Your deck is a meta deck regardless if you made it yourself of netdecked it, your deck is meta because Cosmo Blue-Eyes are meta, need I get my crayons to explain it? If Mask Change needed to be nerfed it would've done so when it was first released as in when it was popular, they didn't which probably means not much outrage over it or it was never top tier enough to be considered brokenīlue-Eyes, more specifically, Cosmo Blue-Eyes, aka, your deck, is a meta deck.Īre you gonna act like a friend of mine telling me that no-one plays Six Sams because they take a lot of skill to play correctly? I just by sets that I like the cards or they go well in a current build I am constructing not because I went on line and looked up the most stupidly broken current deck. Of course, you guys will pay for every new set that has the "meta" so you can stay relevant and pretend you are good at the game when in reality you are just using the next broken set that they released to sell boxes. Yet there are cards that are banned or limited that don't even make sense to be limited since these other cards out here are overly powerful and unlimited. Power Of The Guardian and Mask Change are two examples. I am complaining about single card win conditions and clearly broken cards that need to be banned or limited. Unlike most players of this game I am not a netdecker who can't read cards and distinguish their value. I constructed my deck on my own, not the meta. So lemme get this straight: you complain about how "Konami still gets your money" when you use a meta deck for which you willingly paid money, then play your meta deck sub optimally because "I refuse to use what others use" and cry you can't beat a meh deck when your own deck barely holds together?
